Book Dust Jacket

This design was created as a mockup for a Utah local author. This author was considering selling dust jackets for their books and contracted me to create a possible design. The design includes elements from the book without giving away the story. It was also made to be a juxtaposition from the original book cover to provide a cleaner, more YA focused cover. The black silhouettes were hand illustrated to represent various book characters and their storylines.

This design was created using Illustrator and a hand illustration software.
